2020 Small Business Summit & Resource Fair

Sloane is a two time Emmy Award winning journalist with a passion for storytelling. For the last decade, she has been sharing stories as a reporter at WRAL-TV. Before planting roots in the Triangle, Sloane worked as an anchor and reporter at NBC affiliates in Florida and Georgia. Sloane is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism. Her passion for journalism was born from her time observing sports reporters on the sidelines as a member of the New England Patriots Cheerleading Squad. Sloane is married to her high school sweetheart Mark, and they have three young children. When she is not chasing the big story of the day, she enjoys sharing her story-telling skills with business leaders and non-profit organizations to help them more effectively connect with their audience and build lasting relationships.
