Enjoy a family tradition of fitness, fun and food! Come out to Wakefield High School on Thanksgiving morning where there is a distance for everyone - kid's dash, 1 mile, 5k, 10k and Half Marathon. Plus, it's a morning of fun with a visit from Santa Claus, music and visions of pie and turkey!
Finisher's medals and tee-shirts to all registered runners! ALL distances are stroller-friendly and pet-friendly - keep the family together on Thanksgiving morning.
Proceeds benefit the Just Think First Program that seeks to raise awareness on various topics that affect teens in society today including violence, sex, drugs, alcohol, gangs and negative peer pressure. Scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors in the spring.
