Like so many of us, Lynn and Keith Macksey were to celebrate annual events in 2020 – then came the pandemic. In their case, they had a whirlwind trip to Europe planned to celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary. When those plans got “Covid-ed,” they wrote this book together, instead. Lynn was already a published author of medical textbooks and reference guides, but this is Keith’s first book. Together they discussed, analyzed, and distilled what they had learned together over 35+ years about what makes long-term, committed relationships work. The result of this collaboration was a collection of tips, tools, and techniques useful to any long-term relationship – a marriage, a lifelong friendship, or a business partnership. As they wrote, they discovered something quite miraculous: that there is something unique within the context of a long-term relationship awaiting us all – a treasure unavailable anywhere else.
