About Me – Phuong Huynh

My journey began far from the world of nail salons and beauty spas. In 2012, I arrived in America as a refugee, carrying not only the dreams of a new immigrant but also the resilience and determination to turn them into reality.

As a dedicated mother of two and a partner to my supportive husband, my early days in the U.S. were focused on balancing the demands of family, work, and education. While working as a nail technician to support my family and fund my education, my husband and I pursued our academic goals together at East Carolina University.

I earned a master’s degree in Business, specializing in accounting, which allowed me to transition from being a skilled nail technician to becoming a tax associate at a prominent public accounting firm. My journey has been one of perseverance, hard work, and passion for growth, and I’m excited to continue building on this foundation.
