The Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce's 38th Annual Meet in the Street® festival presented by Engine Masters Outdoor Power Equipment is scheduled for Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm in historic downtown Wake Forest. Join us as we fill South White Street, South Brooks Street, and South Taylor Street with arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, live music and performances, and plenty of kid friendly activities. It?s a full day of fun for the whole family! And best of all, it?s FREE!

The White Street Brewing Company's Beer Garden is moving to the Fidelity Bank parking lot on Owen Street. Come enjoy some White Street brews and have a prime spot to listen to the live music acts on the main stage.

Arts & Crafts Vendors
Buy yourself a handmade item, or shop for gifts. More than 200 vendors will line the streets offering their wares. Y
Young Entrepreneurs Fair, presented by Blue Wave Pressure Washing
Stop by the Wake Forest Chamber's parking lot (350 S. White Street) to see and buy handmade wares by local children ages 9-14. Come out and support these budding entrepreneurs!
New! Community Raffle Showcase
The Chamber's largest fundraiser of the year is the Community Raffle presented by Food Lion. Winners will be drawn during Meet in the Street, but you'll have time during the event to buy your last minute tickets! Come tot he Community Raffle Showcase located next to B & W Hardware Co. at 232 S. White Street to buy your raffle tickets and browse booths from businesses that donated prizes as well as local nonprofits. Tickets are $50 each, and 15 prizes will be awarded, including a $10,000 cash grand prize!
Special Appearances & Other Events
Special appearances will take place throughout the day, including a visit from the North Carolina FC Football Club, and Muddy the Mudcat from the Carolina Mudcats baseball team. As in past years, children will be able to enjoy free activities in the Children's Village, presented by The Goddard School of Wake Forest, on Taylor Street, including inflatables, arts and crafts, and a visit with the Wake Forest Fire Department. The Bicycle Safety Fair will be located in the Town Hall Lot off Brooks Street.
NEW! VIP Tent
Want to be treated like a VIP at Meet in the Street? New this year is a special VIP Tent located near the main stage. Enjoy a break from the hustle and bustle and enjoy complimentary refreshments in the VIP Tent. We?ll also have a special Meet and Greet with country music artist and Meet in the Street performer John King. Tickets are $20 each and will go on sale April 9 (limited supply).
Free Shuttle
A free shuttle service once again will be provided again this year from Sam's Club - Wake Forest, located at 11460 Royal Cotton Road, Wake Forest. Shuttles will run from 9:30 am - 5:00 pm. Thank you to Sam's Club Wake Forest and Banks Kerr YMCA for sponsoring the shuttle!
NEW! Rickshaw Service sponsored by Traditions at Wake Forest. We will have three rickshaws running along Elm Avenue to take visitors to White, Brooks and Taylor streets.
Parking
Free parking will be available in assigned spaces along several downtown streets and parking lots. Handicap parking will be provided in the Depot Parking Lot, 110 S. White St., and the upper SunTrust Parking Lot.
