DESCRIPTION:The Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce's 37th Annual Meet in the Street festival presented by Chris Leith Automotive is scheduled for Saturday\, May 6\, from 10 am until 5 pm in historic downtown Wake Forest. Join us as we fill South White Street\, South Brooks Street\, and South Taylor Street with arts and crafts vendors\, food trucks\, live music and performances\, and plenty of kid friendly activities. It's a full day of fun for the whole family! And best of all\, it's FREE!\n\n\n\nCheck out what's in store for you throughout the day:\n\n\n\nLIVE MUSIC STAGE\n\nLocated at the corner of White and Owen streets adjacent to the Beer Garden\, the Live Music Stage presented by UNC Rex Healthcare will feature performances by URMOM\, Rebekah Todd & The Odyssey\, Arts Fishing Club\, and East Coast Rhythm & Blues.\n\n\n\nPERFORMING ARTS STAGE\n\nLocated in Town Hall's Centennial Plaza and presented by WakeMed\, the performing arts stage will feature a variety of performing arts and demonstrations from local groups and schools.\n\n\n\nFOOD VENDORS\n\nMore than 20 food vendors will be located throughout the festival. We'll post the list when it's ready\, and your mouth is sure to water from the variety of food that will be available!\n\n\n\nARTS & CRAFTS VENDORS\n\nBuy yourself a handmade item\, or shop for gifts. More than 200 vendors will line the streets offering their wares. We'll post a complete list as it is finalized.\n\n\n\nFREE SHUTTLE\n\nA free shuttle service will be provided again this year in conjunction with Sam's Club and Banks Kerr Family YMCA. Hop on a YMCA bus at the Wake Forest Sam's Club (11460 Royall Cotton Road\, Wake Forest\, NC 27587) for the short trip into downtown. The free shuttle will drop off visitors in multiple locations. The shuttle will run continuously beginning at 9:30 am\, with the final shuttle departing from downtown at 5:00 pm.\n\n\n\nPARKING\n\nFree parking will be available in assigned spaces along several downtown streets and parking lots. Handicap parking will be provided in the Depot Parking Lot\, 110 S. White St.\, and the upper SunTrust Parking Lot\, 353 S. White Street.\n\n\n\nInterested in having a booth?
