The Wake Forest Area Chamber will host its monthly educational series featuring HR Attorney Mimi Soule on Wednesday August 11 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm.
Seminar Summary: After the whirlwind of 2020 and as our working lives start getting back to a new sense of normalcy, employers are having to navigate new regulations and guidance on safety, vaccines, remote work procedures and new employee rights and protections. In this program, we will discuss the difference between OSHA and CDC guidance and related legal requirements, COVID vaccine safety procedures and employee incentives, as well as legal pitfalls in remote work procedures, including a discussion of allowing employees to work remotely from outside NC.
You may attend this event in person at the Chamber, or virtually via Zoom. Those participants that attend in person can purchase a box lunch in advance for $10.
ABOUT OUR PRESENTER:
Mimi Soule left traditional employment litigation practice and established Soule Employment Law Firm to focus on providing business owners and managers with practical advice to help avoid costly litigation. She now focuses her practice on providing employment law and human resources compliance advice, preparing employment-related contracts, and defending employers against administrative claims. As a business owner herself, Mimi understands the importance of budgeting expenses – especially legal costs. Accordingly, the Firm offers the majority of its legal services on a fixed-fee or project-fee basis.
Prior to founding Soule Employment Law Firm, Mimi practiced with Hedrick Murray in Durham, Ice Miller (then Schottenstein Zox and Dunn doing business as SZD Wicker) and Schneider Law Group in Raleigh, and the national firm of Epstein Becker & Green, P.C. in Washington, D.C. Although enjoying city life in D.C., Mimi moved back to Raleigh to be close to family.
