This will be a fun\, laid back discussion about writing\, books they love\, travel they would like to do and hobbies. Please note that this a digital author event and registration is required.\n \n\nHeather Bell Adams is the award-winning author of MARANATHA ROAD. Her short stories and scholarship have appeared in numerous literary magazines and reviews. A native of Hendersonville\, North Carolina\, she currently is an attorney living in Raleigh.\n \n\nCaitlin Hamilton Summie earned an MFA with Distinction from Colorado State University\, and her short stories have been published in Beloit Fiction Journal\, Wisconsin Review\, Puerto del Sol\, Mud Season Review\, and Long Story\, Short\, and elsewhere. Her first book\, an award-winning short story collection called TO LAY TO REST OUR GHOSTS\, was released in August 2017 by Fomite. She spent many years in Massachusetts\, Minnesota\, and Colorado before settling with her family in Knoxville\, Tennessee. She co-owns the book marketing firm\, Caitlin Hamilton Marketing & Publicity\, founded in 2003.\n \n\nAmy Willoughby-Burle is a writer and teacher living near Asheville\, NC with her husband and four children. Her fiction focuses on second chances\, redemption\, and finding the beauty in the world around us. She is the author of OUT ACROSS THE NOWHERE\, a collection of stories\, THE LEMONADE YEAR\, a novel and the forthcoming\, THE YEAR OF THORNS AND HONEY\, a novel.\n \n\nJ. D. Cortese is a scientist and educator by training\, and a writer out of a passion for communication. He has written regularly for a widely-read scientific newspaper The Scientist and served as at-large editor for educational magazines and large publishing houses. Winner of awards for both science and teaching\, he has received also the prestigious annual award of The Writers' Workshop of Asheville for literary fiction.\n \n\nGregg Cusick's early fiction featured a horse named Nag and was accompanied by hand-Crayolaed illustrations. Over the years\, he has supported his writing habit through work as a furniture mover\, English teacher\, paralegal\, construction worker\, retail manager\, among others. His fiction has appeared in more than two dozen journals and has won numerous awards\, including the Lorian Hemingway Short Story Competition and The Florida Review Editor's Prize\, and has been nominated for three Pushcart Prizes. He holds a Master's in English/Creative Writing from North Carolina State University and lives in Durham\, North Carolina\, where he bartends and tutors adult literacy.\n \n\nPlease note that this a digital author event and registration is required.
